Introduction to Illustrations of the Outline Development Plan For the GBA

The Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), announced on 19 February 2019, was issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council.  It sets out the directions guiding the development of the Greater Bay Area. In addition to the Preamble, the outline was divided into eleven chapters. Each chapter consists of two to six subsections.

This "Illustrations of the Outline Development Plan For the GBA" is compiled in the order of the relevant chapters. The original texts of the outline are quoted in a standard font, accompanied by a simple picture, highlighting the key points in order to understand the relevant concepts. Some of the nouns are accompanied by English teams, and most of the translations are from the English version of the Greater Bay Area website (www.bayarea.gov.hk).
